Complete Beginner's Guide to AI Shorts Generation: Start to Finish

What you need to get started

1. A YouTube channel (free to create at youtube.com)
2. A shortube.pro account (from $1/video or $7/day pass)
3. One source video (your own recording or a YouTube URL you have rights to)

That's it. No editing software, no microphone upgrade, no camera.

Step 1: Create your YouTube channel

1. Sign in to youtube.com with a Google account
2. Click your profile photo → Create a channel
3. Add a channel name and profile picture
4. Go to YouTube Studio → Settings → Channel → Enable custom thumbnails (requires phone verification)

Step 2: Record or find your source video

Option A — Record yourself:
Your phone camera is enough. Record yourself explaining something in your niche for 10–30 minutes. Good lighting + clear audio is more important than camera quality.

Option B — Use existing content:
If you have permission to clip content (your own podcast, webinar, presentation), upload the video file to shortube.pro.

Step 3: Generate Shorts with shortube.pro

1. Sign up at shortube.pro
2. Click "AI Shorts Generator"
3. Upload your video file OR paste a YouTube URL
4. Select a preset (Talking Head for face-to-camera, Podcast for interview)
5. Click Generate
6. Wait 5–15 minutes for AI processing

Step 4: Generate a thumbnail

1. Go to "AI Thumbnail Generator" in the sidebar
2. Paste your YouTube video URL (or enter the title if not yet published)

5. Download your favorite variation

Step 5: Upload to YouTube
