Step-by-Step Tutorial: Using shortube.pro's AI Thumbnail Generator

What you need before starting

• A shortube.pro account with an active 24-hour pass or subscription
• A YouTube video URL (any public video)
• 60 seconds

Step 1: Navigate to AI Thumbnail Generator

In your shortube.pro dashboard, click "AI Thumbnail Generator" in the left sidebar (below AI Shorts Generator).

Step 2: Enter the YouTube URL

Paste any YouTube video URL into the input field. shortube.pro automatically extracts the video title using YouTube's public metadata API — no API key or login required for the video.

Step 3: Choose your aspect ratio

- 16:9 — Standard horizontal thumbnail for long-form YouTube videos
- 9:16 — Vertical thumbnail for YouTube Shorts cover images

Step 4: Select a style

Six styles are available:
- Cinematic — Film-like, dramatic lighting
- Bold Graphic — High contrast, big text energy
- Minimalist — Clean, editorial
- Neon Glow — Vibrant, cyberpunk
- Photorealistic — Hyper-realistic composites
- Illustrated — Cartoon/animation aesthetic

Start with Cinematic or Bold Graphic if you're unsure.

Step 5: Click Generate

shortube.pro calls Google Imagen 3 and returns 4 thumbnail variations in 15–30 seconds.

Step 6: Download your thumbnail

Hover over any thumbnail and click Download. The PNG file is saved at full resolution, optimized for YouTube upload.

Step 7: Upload to YouTube

Go to YouTube Studio → Content → Select your video → Edit → Thumbnail → Upload your generated thumbnail.
