Terms of Service

Effective date: May 9, 2026

These Terms govern your use of shortube.pro, a service operated by Vardiano Technologies. By creating an account or using the service you accept these Terms in full. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

1. The service

shortube.pro ingests video you provide (either by URL or upload), uses AI to identify clip candidates, renders vertical short-form videos with captions, and optionally uploads them to YouTube channels you have authorised.

2. Your account

You must be at least 16 years old.
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential.
You may not share your account or use it on behalf of another person without their consent.

3. Content rules

You agree not to use shortube.pro to ingest, process, or upload content that:

You do not own or have an explicit licence to use,
Infringes any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property right,
Is sexually explicit, hateful, harassing, defamatory, or unlawful in your jurisdiction,
Violates YouTube’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service, or
Attempts to scrape data we have not licensed for redistribution.

You retain ownership of the content you upload. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process that content solely to provide the service to you.

4. Plans, credits, and refunds

shortube.pro sells one-time credit packs and time-bounded passes (1-day, 7-day, 30-day, 365-day).
Prices shown in USD are charged in INR through Cashfree at the live exchange rate at order creation time.
Time passes start the moment payment succeeds and run for the stated duration.
Credit packs do not expire.
Because the service incurs immediate compute and third-party costs (OpenAI Whisper, YouTube uploads), all sales are final once a project has been ingested. If a render fails for technical reasons attributable to us, the credit is automatically refunded to your wallet.
For other refund requests, email support@vardianotechnologies.com within 7 days of purchase. We review case-by-case.

5. Acceptable use of YouTube integration

You may only authorise channels you legally control.
You will not use the integration to mass-upload spam or content that violates YouTube’s policies.
We may suspend or disconnect your YouTube authorisation if Google notifies us of policy violations.

6. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages (Cashfree, Cloudflare, OpenAI, Google, Neon, Upstash, Railway, Vercel), and force-majeure events may cause downtime. We do not credit pass time for outages shorter than 24 consecutive hours.

7. Intellectual property

The shortube.pro software, brand, design, and copy are the property of Vardiano Technologies. You receive a non-transferable licence to use the service while your account is in good standing.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vardiano Technologies is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, or lost data, arising out of or in connection with the service. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or ₹10,000 INR, whichever is higher.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, if we receive a credible legal complaint about your activity, or if your account is dormant for 24 months.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Delhi, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to your consumer-protection rights under the Consumer Protection Act 2019.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to registered users by email at least 30 days in advance.
