How to Connect Your YouTube Channel to shortube.pro

Connecting your YouTube channel to shortube.pro takes about 2 minutes and unlocks direct upload and scheduling from the platform.

Step-by-step

1. Log in to shortube.pro at shortube.pro/sign-in
2. Go to Integrations in the left sidebar (previously labeled "YouTube Channels")
3. Click Connect YouTube
4. You'll be redirected to Google's OAuth consent screen
5. Select the Google account that owns the YouTube channel(s) you want to connect
6. Review the permissions — shortube.pro requests:
- View your YouTube account info (name, thumbnail)
- Manage your YouTube videos (required for upload and scheduling)
7. Click Allow
8. You'll be redirected back to shortube.pro with your channel(s) connected

Connecting multiple channels

Repeat the process for each Google account. You can connect multiple Google accounts, each with multiple YouTube channels. All connected channels appear in the upload dropdown when you're ready to publish a Short.

Setting a default channel

The first channel you connect becomes the default. You can change the default channel in the Integrations settings.

Security

shortube.pro stores your OAuth token encrypted at rest. The token is used only to perform actions you explicitly trigger (upload, schedule). You can revoke access at any time by:
1. Clicking Disconnect next to any account in the Integrations page, OR
2. Revoking access directly in your Google account settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions
