Using shortube.pro on Mobile: The Full Workflow
How to use shortube.pro from a smartphone — creating projects, reviewing clips and scheduling uploads on mobile.
shortube.pro's web app is fully responsive and works well on mobile. Here's the complete mobile workflow for creators who manage their content on the go.
Creating a project on mobile
1. Open shortube.pro in your mobile browser (Safari, Chrome)
2. Sign in
3. Tap Create Shorts in the sidebar (tap the menu icon to expand the sidebar on mobile)
4. Paste a YouTube URL from your clipboard or tap to upload a video file
5. Tap Create Project
The project starts processing immediately. You'll receive a browser notification when it's ready (if notifications are enabled).
Reviewing clips on mobile
Navigate to My Projects and open the completed project. Tap any clip to preview it full-screen. Swipe between clips to compare candidates. Edit the title, description and hashtags by tapping the metadata fields.
Uploading on mobile
Tap Upload on any approved clip. Select your connected YouTube channel from the dropdown. Review or edit the metadata. Tap Upload Now or set a schedule time using the mobile date/time picker.
Tips for mobile use
- Clipboard paste: Copy YouTube URLs directly from the YouTube app and paste into the shortube.pro URL field
- Notification permission: Enable browser notifications so you know when processing completes
- Landscape mode for preview: Rotate to landscape when reviewing vertical clips for a cleaner preview experience
- Dark mode: shortube.pro supports dark mode and follows your system setting
What works better on desktop
The project list and analytics pages are more comfortable on larger screens. For bulk metadata editing or reviewing a large batch, desktop is recommended. But creating, reviewing and approving individual clips works seamlessly on mobile.
